Secrets Of A Moroccan Kitchen With John Gregory Smith At Jamie Oliver's Cookery School

Posted on November 1, 2017 by

In celebration of John's new Moroccan-inspired cookbook Orange Blossom & Honey, the Jamie Oliver Cookery School is bringing you a very special evening full of rich, fragrant and delicious food.

You’ll start the lesson by making Zaalouk – a smoked aubergine dip, that you’ll enjoy before your main meal. Then, you’ll learn the art of preparing and cooking the perfect traditional tagine – Mrouzia – that’s scented with saffron and ras el hanout and sweetened with honey. You’ll get to take yours home with you to wow your friends and family, and sit down and enjoy a bowl that John will prepare for you.

To end the day, John will demonstrate how to make Ghoriba – delicious biscuits from Essaouira, that are made with roasted and ground almonds. You’ll enjoy them with a coffee once you’ve devoured your meal.
